Don't you just love a pop up shop? And if it is a pop up venture that gives back all the better. Method UK (known for their sustainable vegan earth friendly detergents) and Clothes Aid (they collect unwanted pre loved clothes and accessories and the proceeds go to their partner charities) have come together to open a two day pop up store where pre loved garments from the likes of Millie Mackintosh etc will be on sale. You can even take your own pre loved garments and customise or donate them. All proceeds from the event will go to Clothes Aid partner charities - including Action for Children. The Slow Fashion pop up store is to encourage the nation to be more economical friendly and sustainable with 300,000 garments going to landfill instead of donated to a charity.
This fun and environmentally sustainable event will happen on the 16th and 17th of October at 189 Shoreditch high street, London. For more on Method UK visit their site here and Clothes Aid here.
