I love how my life is a patchwork of experiences. I love how these pants feel patchworked together. Love how the jacket has these fabrics that come together as one. Can't say the jumper is much different. I guess like life, I like garments that have many parts that come together to make a whole.

On quite a few of the Runways, models had velvety polished skin. This trended on catwalks such as Fendi where model Adesuwa looked luminous and dewy. According to makeup artist Lynsey Alexander on this look, the application of the base in a light and non flat look was key in achieving the velveteen finish.

Nothing like a bit of orange to brighten your day with granny chic. My ankles have found they quite like anklets and hope they stay. The ornamental print via Zara is wonderful. Matching two different ones, all the more so. The orange jumper slung round shoulders is for that granny chic in addition to the Miu Miu shoes. The worse the weather the brighter the outfit. The trend for micro bags on the Catwalk continues its domination from spring into autumn winter 2019. Over at Louis Vuitton this was seen with small clutches and handbags. Tis the season to travel light.
Haven't liked a magazine cover as much as this in a while. Haven't liked a singer as much as Solange in a while. The two make a combination and a half.
Alaia is inimitable. Anyone in vintage Alaia stops the press. 1991 Alaia to be exact. Kim Kardashian West in Azzedine Alaia from head to toe. What a look. What a designer.
I like a good profile. It helps you see the structure of your garments from a different perspective. Like then ear cuff round my ear or the red of my lips or the silver of my tubular Maria Francesca Pepe necklace. Better still you see the cut of my coat from a different vantage point too. I like a good profile.
The 70s inspired range was accessorised by gold strap platforms. I'm in the mood for a pair. To wear just because.

Opening for the Marc Jacobs show Ugbad Abdi is a rising model. She walked the Valentino Couture show with Naomi Campbell. Was also on the runway of Burberry, Fendi, Lanvin etc. She is definitely a model to watch.

The Zendaya x Tommy Hilfiger show was 70s, 70s and more 70s. The era could not be referenced enough. From the burgundy leather boots the models wore, to the afros they donned, to the flared denim and leather looks, this was Seventies through and through. There was even a glittery jumpsuit that would not have looked out of place at Studio 54.
